- 4 (6-oz) salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless)
- 2 tbsp avocado oil
- Kosher salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Preheat grill to 400°F (204°C) for 10 minutes.
Brush each salmon fillet with 1/2 tsp avocado oil to prevent sticking.
Place fillets skin-side down on the grill; cook for 4 minutes without moving.
Flip fillets carefully; grill for 2 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 125°F (52°C) for medium or 145°F (63°C) for USDA fully cooked.
Rest fillets for 3 minutes on a warm plate (pre-warmed in a 200°F oven, turned off).
