Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup (226 g) unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup + 2 tbsp (75 g) powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla + ½ tsp almond extract
  • cups  (280 g) all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup (60 g) finely ground almonds
  • ¼ ctsp salt
  • Extra powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions
 

  • Beat butter and sugar 4 min until fluffy.
  • Add extracts, then dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  • Chill dough 30 min.
  • Shape tablespoons into crescents.
  • Bake 350°F (175°C) for exactly 14 min.
  • Dust generously with powdered sugar while hot.

Notes

Don’t skip the chill time it stops the cookies from spreading flat.
